Sport is the one language that knows no boundaries and sees no distinctions. It unites cultures, transcends values and defies convention. That’s why Athletes in Action is committed to using the language of sport as a platform to share the Gospel with others. I am joining AIA to reach some of the most unreached people and the future of our community — student athletes. I can connect to Christians and non-Christians in a powerful way, as I’ve done in the past. Upon arrival in Canada, my role will be Director of Basketball Development. I will be developing programs and content for basketball players of all ages across British Columbia to further their leadership and character development. Columbia Bible College has equipped me for this role in many ways, both through my basketball experience and degree in Youth Work. Young people need strong Christian role models that will show them God’s power and love. I want them to know that Jesus values and loves them.
